Patrick Latour Named to Board of SAP Configuration Workgroup

Patrick Latour, Solution Delivery Manager for eLogic, has been elected to the Configuration Workgroup (CWG) Board of Directors for the 2020 term. Latour has been in the SAP ecosystem since 2007 working on Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Variant Configuration (VC), integrations, sales, and more, both on the functional and technical side. He has been a CWG member for nine years and joins eLogic CTO and Managing Partner Lawrence Matusek who serves as the CWG Past President and Vice Chairman. Latour has more than 13 years of experience in SAP ECC Implementation and Development with deep expertise in the VC, SD, and MM module as well as SAP CPQ.

Patrick has presented many times at CWG conferences including three sessions at last year’s CWG North American Conference in St. Louis on the topics of Configurable Service, Configure to Stock, Variant Pricing, and LO-VC Conversion. Patrick also led the eLogic team that won the 2019 Variant Configuration and Pricing User Experience Contest. Under his direction, they created a voice recognizing food ordering app using public APIs from the SAP Cloud Platform called by a Microsoft Power App. Latour will present at this year’s virtual CWG Conference that starts on May 18 on VC to CPQ Integration.

The CWG is an international user group of SAP customers and partners, focused on the topic of product and solution configuration as implemented in the Variant Configurator (LO-VC), SAP Internet Pricing and Configurator (SAP IPC), SAP Product Configuration, SAP Solution Sales Configuration, S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC), be it deployed on-premise or in the cloud. With more than 500 member companies, 250+ partner companies and over 6,500 members, the CWG is one of the few industry groups of its kind, with a unique mission to promote knowledge exchange in the area of SAP product configuration and influence future SAP direction.

I’m really excited about this opportunity, and how I can take this experience and improve the way we service our customers in the configuration world, Latour said. I will continue to make CWG a valuable experience, connecting customers and SAP to strengthen our community and solve business challenges.
