Microsoft Leading the Pack in Gartner’s BI and Analytics Magic Quadrant
For Microsoft, 13 is a lucky number.
2020 makes 13 years in a row that Microsoft has been named a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms. In the latest report Microsoft is clearly positioned at the top of 22 vendors as not only a platform that is growing in tremendous leaps and bounds, but as a visionary company with a clear path forward.
It’s also the second year in a row Microsoft leads the pack in both their completeness of vision and the ability to execute among leaders, according to Gartner.
Since launching five years ago, Power BI has become available in 43 languages and deployed in 40 datacenters around the world, Microsoft reported. Over 97 percent of Fortune 500 companies use Power BI, with 200,000 customers around the world who use 40 petabytes of data every month on a safe and secure platform.
Gartner’s report stated that:
Microsoft continues to invest in a broad set of visionary capabilities and to integrate them with Power BI. This aligns well with the openness, consumerization and automation trends identified by Gartner as key market drivers.
Power BI enables eLogic’s own manufacturing customers to gain valuable insights easily through an integrated platform that is both cost-effective and business driven.

Instead of looking at three screens PowerBI only needs one, and combined with eLogic's expertise exposes insights that keep our customers a step ahead.
Here’s more of what Gartner had to say in this month’s report:
Microsoft is a Leader in this Magic Quadrant. It has a comprehensive and visionary product roadmap and massive market reach through its Microsoft Office channel.
Microsoft offers data preparation, visual-based data discovery, interactive dashboards and augmented analytics in Power BI. It is available as a SaaS option running in the Azure cloud or as an on-premises option in Power BI Report Server… Microsoft releases a weekly update to its cloud service, which added hundreds of features in 2019. Recent additions include decomposition tree visuals, LinkedIn data connectivity and geographic mapping enhancements.
eLogic is a proud Microsoft partner.
